Some of our favorite images from recent portrait sessions featured here.

Some of my favorite subjects are the ones who don't talk | Pet portraits in Fayetteville, AR

Since my beloved dog True left us this Spring to run free in Heaven (yes, he most certainly IS there), I've been going through my old photographs more than usual- I suppose in hopes of seeing his bright eyes again, and to be damned sure I don't forget one detail of his beautiful face and body... I've been grieving for him the only way I know how, which is to slowly start to look for him everywhere again and remember him with the tremendous respect and love I have for him.

I have smiled lots seeing some of the portraits of pets I've made over the years, so I wanted to share them here. Some of these babies are with True now, and some are still here for a while, thank heavens. They are ALL loved, purely and deeply by their people, now and forever. Their souls show in their sweet little faces and it brings me tons of comfort to reflect on them, and their unconditional love.

People always say how lucky an animal is to have had such a great life with humans who loved them, and a comfortable home, rescued from whatever fate they faced, had their people not stepped in to their lives… but who are we kidding??? Us humans are the lucky ones.
